Connect activity to the agent that needs it.

01

Connect a source

Connect email, Slack, or Teams, receive service events through a webhook, or accept agent messages. Several agents can use the same source.

02

Choose what reaches your agent

Name your agent, select its inputs, and choose matching conditions and shared fields. Preview a sample without storing or sending it.

03

Test, approve, and activate

Test your MCP or webhook receiver, then approve the setup for future events. An MCP agent must keep checking for messages; Doorbell cannot wake a sleeping agent.

Send only the details you choose

Useful context. Clear boundaries.

Doorbell retains permitted messages and sends the selected details. Your agent decides what to do; successful delivery does not mean completed work.

Email sources watch new inbox activity. Doorbell reads message metadata, never email bodies, previews, or attachments. An agent that needs to read an email uses its own separately authorized mailbox tools.

Gmail uses metadata-only access. Outlook uses basic mail access, with a broader read permission if Microsoft requires it; Doorbell still requests only metadata. Read the privacy policy for how we handle Google and Microsoft data.

Webhook sources keep declared fields and explicitly selected JSON content, not the raw request by default. Agents can send messages to named agents and publish results to approved webhook outputs. Learn about access and your data.

One place for your agents and outputs

Set up, monitor, and troubleshoot.

Configure named agents, pause delivery without stopping capture, and read retained messages independently. Check source connections and delivery evidence before asking your agent to act.

To let your agent help with setup or receive MCP notifications, open Connect your agent, connect the MCP URL, and copy or download the skills it needs.
